I didn't walk like I normally do. I actually went to the hospital to visit James, so I walked a little bit (from the parking lot to his room and back). I have to admit that I snuck a few bites of his stuffing. It tasted kind of good, actually. Now I have been drinking hot Green Tea all afternoon. I wish this nausea would go away!!

Did I Just Have a Baby?

I just finished eating lunch: soup, jello, and water.. Sounds like my post-pregnancy diet. Ughh. I'm still feeling a little nauseus. I didn't even feel like eating my lunch, but I knew I had to. I'm debating if I want to walk or not. They say it's not as hot out as yesterday, but I'm sure it's still pretty hot out there. That might make me feel worse.. If I do walk, it will only be a short distance. I will keep you posted.

Green Tea & Orange Juice

Yesterday afternoon I ate a yogurt for my snack. I wasn't feeling too perky. I was afraid of getting the virus, which my mom suddenly got yesterday morning. I started drinking a bunch of hot Green Tea to try and stop myself from getting sick.

At home, I ate a slice of leftover pizza and a big helping of my leftover enchilada casserole even though I was feeling nauseous (how stupid was that?) and I drank some more tea as well. Then at like 7:30 pm Charlie and I went to bed, and we stayed there. We didn't wake up until 7:30 am this morning!! I had to get up and get my shower, oh and of course I weighed myself: 251.4 lbs thank you very much. 

Then after my shower I drank a big glass of orange juice. I guess the virus passed over me. I sure hope so. I'm not feeling sickly like yesterday, at least. 

I just finished eating my breakfast, which was NOT oatmeal. I ate a granola bar instead and am still drinking Green Tea.

Back On Track

At 10:00 am I ate my Ritz Crackerful and ate 11:00 am I ate my lunch: 1 can of chicken spread with a little mayo and black pepper with 2 slices cheese on 2 slices double fiber bread + a 100-calorie bag of Baked Cheetos. I really didn't care for the chicken spread at all. It made me feel sick. In fact, I still feel sick from it. I think it's too rich or something. At 11:30 am I left for my walk. Finally, I get a real walk in! Yippee! It was really hot though. Right now my work uniform is soaked. I did 2.03 miles in 42 minutes, burning 178 calories. Gosh, I feel like I should've burned more than that for all I've sweated. Oh well.. :o)

Finding Ways to Move

After my lunch yesterday, Charlie and I took a nap for about 2 hours. Later that afternoon, I ate a yogurt and some animal crackers (just a few). Unfortunately, for dinner, we ordered Domino's Pizza. I actually did good, though. I ate 2 slices of pizza (compared to my usual 4 slices) and 3 chicken kickers with ranch dressing. I was unable to walk again (this time because my brother had to go to the hospital :( !!) So I called up Liishaladii and asked her if she wanted to go walk around Kohl's.. and so we did. I enjoyed myself. It's fun to look at all the clothes I will be able to get into in a few months (hopefully so!). Plus, even though it was super-low impact, we were still getting exercise in!

When I got home I will still full from the pizza, but I did make a smoothie after my shower. It was just a small one with an apple and some strawberries and blueberries and of course Chia seeds.

This morning's weight was: 252.8 lbs! It's coming down slowly, but it's coming down!

Yesterday, right after I did my lunchtime walk, I got a call from Charlie's babysitter saying he was throwing up!! Yikes! I left right away and got him and we took a nap until 5 pm. When I woke up I ate 2 cookies, not a healthy choice, but I thought hey, I haven't had my afternoon snack. Then I proceeded to make our dinner, enchilada casserole. During this process, I snacked on a handful of cashews as well as a few tortilla chips with homemade guacamole. I decided that since I was snacking on the chips before dinner, I didn't need any during dinner. So I had 2 servings of the enchilada casserole (chicken, homemade corn tortillas and pinto beans, cheese, enchilada sauce, Honduran crema) plus the guacamole.

After dinner the plan was to walk with Liishaladii, but I was having trouble with getting Charlie to sleep, so we decided not to walk :( Instead, as suggested by my mom, I popped in the Leslie Sansone DVD (Walk the Walk). I first did the 1 mile. When that was over, I did the 2 miles. I didn't really feel like that was sufficient enough, even though I was sweating. But, with Charlie awake and moody, I really had no other option.

After that was over, I made myself a smoothie. I used a banana, an apple, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and Chia seeds. It was very berry I must say.

Then this morning I didn't go to work because of Charlie. I took him to the doctor, but I weighed in beforehand. It said 253.4 lbs!! I guess I reached my weekly goal. It looks like the grand total for the week is 8.4 lbs lost. I'm excited about that but my problem is keeping up with it!

I ate no breakfast this morning and I just finished eating lunch about 25 minutes ago. I had a big helping of last night's leftovers with a Coke Zero. I'm really stuffed, but I can't go out and walk since I have to take care of Charlie. I might end up doing the Leslie Sansone DVD again in a little bit, but right now I'm feeling kind of lazy. I need more motivation!! Life has been crazy/busy!

Next week's goal: I want to weigh 248 lbs by next Monday, August 16! Wish me luck!

Messed Up App

I ate about a cup of watermelon after my lunch and then I went walking. Part way through my walk my Run Keeper App got messed up, so I just turned it off. I did about 42 minutes of walking, so I am estimating that I did somewhere between 2 and 2.5 miles. I thought that was good. I decided to go longer because I wanted to make up for last night. At first I was dreading going on the walk, but I was weighing out the outcomes in my head, and I chose to go further and do as much as I could. At the end, I knew I had made the right decision.

Double the Flavor, Double the Fun

For lunch I am eating a pepper loaf sandwich (2 slices of pepper loaf, 2 slices of cheese, 2 slices of bread, mayo, and black pepper). I'm also eating a bag of the 100 calories baked Cheetos. I'm scared that I will still be hungry after I eat! Oh well. No time for hunger. I have to walk after this!

Time Goes By.. So Slowly

It was hard for me to wait for the 10:00 am snack. It took forever, it seemed. But I waited until a little bit after 10 to eat my Chobani Greek Yogurt. I'm ready for lunch now. I'm walking today though at lunch. I have to do better!

I Messed Up..

Last night when my parents got home they had brought me a cupcake, but I didn't want that. I decided to make some popcorn instead. I was eating the popcorn and then my mom opened a bag of Cheese Curls. I couldn't resist. I ate maybe 10 of those. Then, she rocked out the Cheese Balls, and I went to town. Finally, I went and got my cupcake. It was heavenly. Then, it hit me. I felt horrible, disgusting, fat... I knew I would pay for what I did, and I did. When I weighed this morning I gained. 254.8 lbs. :(
I'm so mad at myself. I'm not screwing up like that again.

Smoothie and Other Junk

Alisha came to my house after I ate my dinner. (I think she is the one who gave me the munchies!! But shhhh.. don't tell her) So I was craving everything, plus my parents had gone to the grocery store. I decided to eat the last few crumbs of those frosted animal crackers and they were goooood. Then I was craving some pinto beans that I made, so I took a bite of those. Plus, we made a smoothie (banana, strawberries, blueberries, coconut milk, raspberries, and Chia seeds). On top of that, we are not going to go walking tonight. It's my fault though. I'm just so tired and feeling lazy. But tomorrow I will get back on track!!! I promise!

Early Dinner

I decided that for tonight's dinner I would use the leftover rice and vegetables from the other night. So I sauteed some garlic, onion, and a can of black beans in olive oil, and then I added the rice. It wasn't bad at all. I ate about 1 1/2 cups of the rice mixture and 2 homemade corn tortillas with Hondurian crema. I'm still feeling hungry.. just waiting for it to pass.


I ate my snack today around 3:30ish. It was just those leftover raviolis from last night's dinner. I think they might have been yummier than yesterday. Now I am cooking tomorrow night's dinner. I don't really know what I'll eat for dinner tonight, though. It's just gonna be Charlie boy and me.

Catching Up..

Wow. So I haven't posted since yesterday morning! That's just horrible!! Let me give you the run down of what's happened this weekend. So yesterday I got home from work around 12::30 pm and I ate a Lean Cuisine Chicken Parmesan (310 calories) with some water. Then Charlie and I went to see Carlos and we went around to a couple of stores so I got a little bit of walking in. Around 5 pm we went to the Olive Garden. I ordered the Shrimp & Crab Tortelli Romana, which is 840 calories AND I only ate about 2/3 of it. I also had a breadstick (150 calories) and salad (? calories). I thought I did pretty darn good. Then in the evening, around 9:30 pm I had a piece of watermelon.

So this morning when I weighed myself I was 253.2 lbs. I lost again! I skipped breakfast ( not on purpose, but it was late) so I went to Wendy's around 12:00 pm. I was very tempted to get a fried chicken sandwich but instead I chose to eat their new salad the BLT Cobb and I didn't the whole thing (I'd say about 9/10 of it). I just looked up the nutrition info and it has 670 calories.. not too bad. Well that's the weekend so far. I'm exhausted today since Charlie is sick and kept me up all night.. I hope he will get better. :o)
